Spooky Gingerbread House
On our last trip to Trader Joe’s my son spotted this spooky house kit and well just had to get it. It actually turned out to be a great project… was a little worried because I’m a bit of a perfectionist, I usually have to remind myself they are kids and art is in the eye of the beholder.
I built the house with him as it was difficult for him to keep the pieces up when attaching the next piece. Once we got the house up we let it sit and let the frosting harden a bit before attempting to decorate it.
He had so much fun adding all the little candy pieces to it and wanted to explain how he decorated it when he was finished.
It was definitely worth the money, a fun activity for the kids and got them in the holiday spirit!
